The beta function is defined for real or complex arguments as

B(a,b)=Γ(a)Γ(b)Γ(a+b),\displaystyle B(a, b)=\frac{\Gamma(a) \Gamma(b)}{\Gamma(a+b)},

with Re(a), Re(b)>0. Γ is the gamma function.
